Frquently Askesd Questions [F.A.Q]
CAN I APPLY FOR A VISA MYSELF?
Yes, you can. But it is not easy, as many people have found out to their detriment! Many people have their visa applications rejected because they do not adopt the correct approach and fail to understand what paperwork is needed, what category of visa to apply for, when to apply or who to apply to. Immigration law is highly complex and any mistake in your application will result in refusal on the part of the case officer.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY CHILDREN REACH 21 OR GET MARRIED?
One of the drawbacks is the status of dependent children who reach the age of 21 or get married. Unfortunately once a child reaches 21 or gets married, they will no longer qualify for dependent status. When visas are issued, a child who reaches his or her 21st birthday during the allotted visa period will only receive a visa until the date of their 21st birthday. The principal applicant may receive a 5 year visa until the child’s visa expires or the child maries. He or she must depart that county. This is a significant issue for potential applicants to consider before starting the application process. Possible long term options when a child is reaching the end of their approved visa sty wishes remain in that country are: 1) marriage to a citizen, or 2 going to college university on a student visa and securing a Bachelors Degree that is the minimum requirement for a possible future employment or Green Card application. Please ask our offices if these scenarios may be applicable to your circumstances.
